A Day at Dadar Station – Chaos, Cutting Chai & City Feels

May 6, 2025 A Slice of Mumbai, Served on Platform No. 5 They say if you survive Dadar station at rush hour, you can survive anything. Today wasn’t about survival, though — it was about soaking in the madness that makes Mumbai, Mumbai. I didn’t plan much. Just got down at Dadar with a camera, some free time, and a craving for vada pav. The platforms buzzed with energy — aunties speed-walking like it’s a sport, uncles shouting on the phone, college kids lost in their headphones, and me... vibing with it all. I grabbed a cutting chai from that corner stall (you know the one with the steel kettle and the sassy chaiwala). Sipping that kadak chai while watching trains come and go felt oddly poetic. Trains left, people moved, but the spirit of the place stayed still — raw and real. Later, I roamed around the market, clicked random photos, bought a ₹20 bracelet, and got lost in the crowd (on purpose).
